The State of the Environment in Black and Brown America lifts a mirror up to our nation in this time of crisis and takes a hard look at the systemic racism, trauma, unjust policies, and actions that impact our most vulnerable communities across our country. This townhall builds upon a series of six private roundtable conversations that took place across the nation. During these roundtables, frontline community leaders, elected officials, and other key experts and environmental justice stakeholders discussed the impacts of COVID-19 on the pressures already facing these communities, and leaders shared policy solutions that are needed to ensure an equitable path to recovery.
