In these days of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s not easy to find that silver lining on the horizon. Especially when you get bombarded with bad news day-in day-out. So is the world going from bad to worse? No, even though we might get that impression from the news. In fact, many developments are positive. Neuroscientist Maren Urner explains why bad news tends to stay longer in our memory. It’s time for the media to do better.
