Amazon secures enough votes to defeat unionization drive

With more than two thirds of the ballots counted, Amazon on Friday secured enough votes to defeat the unionization drive at one of its Alabama warehouses. The NLRB still has yet to count hundreds of contested ballots. Amazon hasn’t faced a substantial union vote in the U.S. since 2014, when a small group of repair technicians in Delaware rejected an effort to unionize.
